What I Bring to Your Production
I am used to working on HETV Band 2 sets, having worked as a lead character on The Inside Man for all seven seasons, sustaining a complex character across a long run.
I have also worked on quick turn-around soaps, as well as indie shorts, and understand the demands for each. I have even made my own short films, so I am very aware of what happens behind the camera and what I need to do as an actor to make the production look good.
For characters, I enjoy playing woman who are navigating something difficult. And haven’t we all by the time you reach my age?
My range is warm and grounded with an emotionally dangerous edge; the loyal supporter and fierce independent who fights for a cause.
Because I also write and direct, I understand the scene architecturally; what it's doing in the story and why that line is there. I bring that to every role I play.
